Medical Gas Testing Standards
MTA’s testing standards are developed and administrated in strict compliance with current laws and regulations as required or recommended by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 99), the American Society of Sanitary Engineers (ASSE), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Compressed Gas Association (CGA). MTA’s three decades of medical gas pipeline testing and certification experience has led to the careful development of numerous innovative testing programs to help in the regular maintenance and documentation of medical gas system requirements per current NFPA 99 code. MTA will work in concert with the healthcare facility managers to understand and advise on the requirements for medical gas pipeline compliance.
Medical Gas Pipeline Testing & Certification
This includes MTA’s stringent verification and documentation process meeting the requirements for the Inspection and Certification of new Medical Gas and Vacuum systems in healthcare facilities by the NFPA. Our formal documentation procedures for all construction certifications make certain the “analytical” process detailed in the current NFPA 99 code are complete and accurate. Written documentation assures total quality control for all construction projects. All MTA medical gas system verifiers for Construction Certifications are ASSE 6030 certified.
