Environmental Services

MTA’s Environmental Specialists can help you assess your environment, your needs for the protection of your patients and your employees.

Managing the quality of our environment is required to avoid the harmful effects of agents that may be found in the air, whether chemical, biological or the result of human activities. Keeping an eye on environmental change is important. Changes in the environment can have critical effects in our work place, our people and our patients. At MTA, we test to OSHA, NIOSH, CETA and ACGIH Requirements.

Consolidated Programs tailored to meet your facility needs:

  • Hazardous Chemicals – Monitoring and Testing
  • Indoor Air Quality Investigations – Chemical and Biological Testing
  • Personnel – Annual and Semi-Annual Testing
  • Waste Anesthetic Gas Monitoring
  • Air Exchange Rate/Ventilation – Monitoring
  • Personnel – Annual and Semi-Annual Testing

Chemical and biological hazards exist in many locations throughout the healthcare setting and can cause a wide range of health issues. Operating rooms, laboratories, and pharmacies can have potentially dangerous levels of toxic chemicals or biological agents. MTA will work with you to evaluate and identify potentially harmful agents in order to comply with regulatory requirements and standards. Monitoring programs are tailored to your specific needs. Our attention to detail will support the safety of your employees and patients.
